It's amazing the power of the Internet and how difficult situations like Japan now, makes us all unite and try to help.
How? Well there have been many illustrators, photographers and artists who join the cause by selling their works devoted to Japan and donating, most 100% of the money. If you want to help here are a few illustrations that have appeared across the blogosphere.

The project is called "1000 Cranes of Japan" and the author of this project is Makiko a Japanese who lives in Madrid and in the project's website explains:
"In Japan we tend to make 1,000 cranes to be granted a wish. For I need your help to encourage my country and especially the people in the areas most affected by the disaster. Once we have the thousand cranes, are sent to our friends in northern Japan, so much help and encouragement will need. "
The website also is a video explaining how to make the bow for those who want to participate do a crane, to get the picture and send it by mail so we can reach 1000!
